MEET J. Enrique Tabarini, DDS, MS
Dr. J. Enrique Tabarini earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Latin American University of Science and Technology, Costa Rica. He continue his education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He serve as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Tabarini also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his residency, he was elected to the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars.
Additionally, he continued his training by completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where he treated children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial deformities.
He collaborates with several non profit medical organizations that reaches out to Latin American children affected by craniofacial deformities. He continues to travel to Latin America to work with and operate on these children.
Dr. Tabarini is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Area of interest for Dr. Tabarini include: Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implantology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Orthognatic Surgery, Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Facial Trauma and Facial Cosmetic Surgery.
